About Us

Colorado MediSpa located in the Albert Vein Institute has been offering laser & facial cosmetic services since 2009. With the need for laser treatment for cosmetic spider veins, we expanded our services to a full medispa offering facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, laser skin rejuvenation, laser skin resurfacing, and cosmetic injections. It is our upmost importance to offer our patients the most effective and safe treatments using state-of-the-art technology and top pharmaceutical grade skin care.

Andrea McCollough, our medispa manager, lead aesthetician, and laser technician, has been certified in laser treatments since 2008, completing her coursework at the top laser aesthetics school in the nation, The National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, AZ. To expand in the skincare field, Andrea completed her esthetics training at the Salon Professional Academy in Colorado Springs, CO, becoming a licensed aesthetician in 2010. Native of Colorado Springs, CO, Andrea joined the Albert Vein team in June of 2012. Andrea comes with a wealth of knowledge, and love for the skincare and laser cosmetic treatments. She continuously attends seminars, and educational events to stay up-to-date with the latest and greatest in the fast growing aesthetics industry. Andrea completed permanent makeup schooling in 2017, and offers permanent makeup services at both our Colorado Springs, and Lone Tree locations. She continues to strive to provide the most beneficial, and effective treatments to her clients, always keeping their needs, and safety first in mind. With the growth and success of Colorado MediSpa in Colorado Springs since 2012, Andrea hopes to build, and maintain a happy client base at our Lone Tree location, located south of Denver.

Kat Drake is our aesthetician and laser technician in Colorado Springs. Growing up in Colorado, she completed her aesthetics training at the Rocky Mountain Laser College in Lakewood, CO in 2008. Starting with the Albert Vein Institute in 2008-2012, Kat decided to stay home with her kids until they were old enough to attend school. Now that her three beautiful children are all in school, Kat was ready to get back to the aesthetics industry. Kat rejoined our team in January of 2018, and we’re thrilled to have her back! Aside from her sweet and caring persona, she has a love for the aesthetics industry, and offers our clients the most beneficial and safest treatments. Between being a great mom and wife, Kat researches products, and stays up-to-date with the newest treatments in the aesthetics industry. She too, comes with very much knowledge and we couldn’t be happier to have her apart of our aesthetic team.

Andrea & Kat perform treatments under Dr. James Albert, double board certified cardiovascular surgeon, and phlebologist. Three physician assistants are on board assisting Dr. Albert in vascular procedures, as well as performing all of our cosmetic injections. Together, we’re proud to offer our clients and patients the best care and service at Colorado MediSpa & the Albert Vein Institute.
